OUR CAPABILITIES

 

Sturbridge Service Center is fully equipped to handle the most difficult of recovery and hauling challenges. This section gives us a chance to show off some of the stars of our fleet of state-of-the-art towing vehicles and rescue units.

Many of our trucks are not pictured. All of our units are in top condition and always ready to serve you.

Unit #223
Heavy towing and recovery unit/crane. Kenworth with NRC 3-stage extendable boom, sliding boom. Equipped with 110v lighting for safety in nighttime recoveries. Two-way radio and cellular phone capabilities.
Unit #222
Autocar wrecker, Holmes Model 750 with wheel-lift capability. Equipped with 110v lighting for safety in nighttime recoveries. Two-way radio equipped.
Unit #232
Ford diesel fully-equipped road service unit including torches, 6500w generator, 12-24v booster start unit, plus a fully stocked hose and brass center, air brake components, lighting and safety equipment and many other parts. Two-way radio and cellular phone capabilities.
Unit #224
International Heavy towing and recovery unit with NRC hydraulic boom, wrecker/wheel lift.
Unit #231
Fully equipped rescue and recovery unit/haz-mat response equipped with Jaws of Life, hydraulic rams, 14” cut-off saw, high-angle rescue equipment, medical equipment. Two cellular phones and a fax machine are on board with communications links to chem-trec for instant information updates regarding hazardous material incidents. GPS equipment on board for the landing of Life Flight and Life Star helicopters
